Caroles Prayer

A chirping choir of Sparrows my eyes now open to,
Dawn thoughts emerging of Cardinals and you.
So peaceful are the sounds, all like morning dew,
Descend upon my heart, happy for the new.

One day, perhaps in Glory, please Lord permit me there,
to whisper beams of feathered joy dispelling every care
from the garden of my beloved that she no more should bear
nor within her breast to suffer when sadness visits there.

Lord, bless that garden Carole, that she may always shine.
Your gift to all who through her smile thank You for gifts of time.
You know the worlds a darker place, a slowly moving rhyme
If Carole is not smiling, Your wonders are not mine.

I, love you Sweetheart
